Kris BartonCHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Centerfield Chief Executive Officer Kris Barton is a seasoned digital marketing leader with a strong track record of driving growth and transformation. Prior to joining Centerfield, Kris served as President of Digital Marketing Solutions at Gannett. Under his leadership, the division achieved record revenue growth and profitability. Before his role as President at Gannett, he held the role of Chief Product Officer leading product and technology development for Gannett’s consumer and marketing products including brands such as USA TODAY, LocaliQ, and hundreds of other portfolio brands owned by Gannett. His background also includes executive roles as ReachLocal’s Chief Product Officer receiving dozens of industry awards including Google and Microsoft innovation awards. Kris served as Chief Operating Officer at Nero, a multimedia software company. He held various leadership roles at Microsoft Corporation leading the global teams for MSN.com across over 50 countries, as well as Microsoft Office where he also ran incubation teams that converted traditional Microsoft software applications to SaaS solutions pioneering Web 2.0. Earlier, he worked at Omniture (later acquired by Adobe). While at Omniture, Kris helped establish one of the first SaaS products, which delivered market-first cloud-based analytics and tools to enhance and improve digital marketing. Kris is a graduate of Brigham Young University.
Brad GreenCHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Brad Green serves as Chief Financial Officer at Centerfield, where he manages the financial and accounting teams. Prior to Centerfield, Brad was a founding member of, and oversaw the financial, human resource, legal, and administrative operations at Spruce Media, a leading Facebook Ads API Partner that was designated as one of twelve companies by Facebook to their Strategic Preferred Marketing Developer Program. Prior to Spruce, Brad led all financial functions at SocialCash and Gratis Internet. SocialCash created some of the first ad units on Facebook, and Gratis Internet was an online ad network and a pioneer in the incentive marketing industry. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from University of Illinois, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
John BusbyCHIEF MARKETING OFFICER
John Busby serves as Centerfield’s Chief Marketing Officer. In addition to corporate marketing, John leads Centerfield’s Digital Brands, which help millions of in-market consumers choose and purchase the right product or service through brands like Business.com and BroadbandNow. Prior to joining Centerfield, John was Head of Analytics for Amazon’s grocery division. Prior to Amazon, John was Senior Vice President of Analytics and Marketing at Marchex. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University.
Gena RomanoSENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, PEOPLE OPERATIONS
Gena Romano serves as Centerfield’s Senior Vice President of People Operations, where she manages all domestic and international HR matters, including life cycle management, learning and development, talent management, organizational design, total rewards, benefits and payroll. She brings 15 years of human resources experience to the company. Prior to joining Centerfield, Gena worked for L’Oréal for 6 years in a HR leadership capacity with a focus on acquisition management. Gena played 4 years of collegiate soccer at Wayne State College where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management. She also holds a Master’s degree in Project Management from Bellevue University.
Aniketh ParmarEXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, TECHNOLOGY
Aniketh Parmar serves as Centerfield’s Executive Vice President of Technology, where he oversees the technology initiatives and execution across the organization. Before joining Centerfield in 2014, Aniketh was architecting and designing scalable e-commerce applications for various direct-to-consumer brands at Conversion Systems. He began his career at Edwards Lifesciences as a passionate engineer and earned his master’s degree in Computer Science from California State University Long Beach.
Scott NorwalkPRESIDENT, BUSINESS SERVICES
Scott Norwalk joined Centerfield in 2010 and has played an essential role in the company’s overall success. As President of Centerfield’s Business Services division, Scott leads the organization responsible for demand generation and customer acquisition for B2B clients. Prior to his current role, Scott was SVP of Strategic Partnerships, running the business development and client services teams. Scott has a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Rhode Island, a Professional Certificate in Digital Media Marketing from NYU, and a Master’s Certificate in Industrial and Product Design from eCornell.
Brad CooperGENERAL MANAGER, INSURANCE
Brad Cooper is Centerfield’s General Manager of Insurance and oversees operations for Centerfield’s insurance segment. Prior to Centerfield, Brad was Chief Revenue Officer and led the Go-to-Market strategy for LoanGlide, a startup in the personal lending industry. Prior to LoanGlide, Brad held various senior leadership roles for the insurance divisions of LendingTree and Bankrate with an emphasis on call products and contact center operations. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and holds a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Sacramento.
Luanne MarekSENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, MEDIA
Luanne Marek serves as Centerfield’s Senior Vice President of Media, overseeing all forms of paid media buying including search, social, display and native. Luanne joined Centerfield with the acquisition of Qology Direct in 2017. She was previously with Qology Direct for 6 years where she led both the marketing and operations teams responsible for customer acquisition, digital marketing and strategic planning in the Home Services vertical. Luanne has a deep understanding of the online-to-offline marketing and sales process as well as a strong track record of developing and executing best-in-class channel operations. Luanne is passionately data driven in her approach to omni-channel marketing strategies to ensure an optimal customer experience.
Laryssa JardineSENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, PRODUCT
Laryssa Jardine serves as Senior Vice President of Product Development where she leads the Product and Development team in building state of the art technology to support all lines of the business. Additionally, she helps streamline operations across departments and teams to ensure processes and tools are in place to improve workflows. Prior to Centerfield, Laryssa worked at Big Spaceship – a digital advertising agency – partnering with Google Labs on product development. Laryssa graduated from Chapman University and began her career in London at Wunderman working on behalf of Land Rover for their global digital marketing department.
Brock BoserCHIEF OF DIGITAL BRANDS
Brock Boser is Centerfield’s Chief of Digital Brands and oversees operations for Centerfield’s Consumer Guides. Prior to Centerfield, Brock was the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Digital Ventures, a Venture Equity Firm which was acquired by Centerfield in January 2020. Digital Ventures developed a platform and vertical agnostic operating model over the course of 6 years and 5 acquisitions. Prior to Digital Ventures, Brock oversaw SEO at CNET, a CBS Interactive Company and was employee #1 and COO at Text Link Ads, which was acquired By MediaWhiz.
Avishan HojatSENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, CLIENT STRATEGY
Avishan serves as Centerfield’s Senior Vice President of Client Strategy, leveraging the company’s unmatched products and value proposition to help its strategic partners grow and achieve success. She has over 20 years of experience in fast-paced internet growth sectors and online media, with a relentless passion for building strategic partner solutions and fostering positive client relationships. As a pioneer within the online marketing industry, she held multiple leadership roles at ValueClick (NASDAQ VCLK), DoubleClick (acquired by Google), and MediaWhiz (acquired by Matomy Media Group). Prior to joining Centerfield, Avishan was part of the executive team at HigherEducation.com, driving all partner-facing functions, and ultimately helping the company to two successful exits (The Vistria Group and Red Ventures).
Kevin MiaoGENERAL COUNSEL
Kevin Miao oversees all of Centerfield’s legal matters. Prior to joining Centerfield, Kevin practiced in the business department at Buckner, Robinson & Mirkovich, where he was a member of the firm’s commercial transactions, business litigation and corporate law practice groups. Kevin received his J.D. degree from Loyola Law School, M.H.A. degree from the University of Southern California and a B.A. degree from the University of California, Berkeley. Kevin is licensed by The State Bar of California.
Eddie ChoiSENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, SALES OPERATIONS
Eddie Choi serves as SVP of Sales Operations for Centerfield, where he leads operations to support Centerfield’s sales centers and programs. Prior to joining Centerfield, Eddie led Sales Operations for eHealth, spearheading agent enablement, company LTV growth, and the beneficiary experience. Prior to eHealth Eddie was a senior leader at LegalZoom for more than 15 years, leading and scaling the inbound sales organization for all product lines before pivoting to Sales Operations where he managed technology initiatives, incentive compensation and workforce management to support the sales organization’s revenue growth. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California.
