Q: Tell us about yourself and what your role is like at Centerfield?
A: Currently, I am a frontend developer on the SEO team, which is continually growing at Centerfield. I am a lead developer on a project that is pushing my abilities and is allowing me to learn more about leadership and productivity.

Q: What’s the coolest thing you have worked on and why?
A: Right now, I’m working on upgrading an existing SEO website to another platform that allows authors and editors to create custom content seamlessly, without needing a developer. It’s great to see the ideas that come from our team and execute them in creative ways.

Q: What are your favorite things about Centerfield?
A: What I love about Centerfield is the people. The people I’ve had the opportunity to work with have helped me get to where I am today. We all want a safe space to challenge ourselves. Centerfield encourages us to push our limits by giving us a strong support system – not only through our immediate co-worker circles, but also through HR and upper management.

Q: Any advice for people wanting to do what you do?
A: The one thing I would tell people who want to do what I do is don’t be afraid to ask for help. Even when you start to rise in the ranks, it’s important to ask questions. Developing is very much a collaborative process. You’ll need support from your co-workers.

Q: What is your favorite WFH tip?
A: Take a break! It’s important to get away from your desk once in a while and walk around. It isn’t easy to separate work from home, because you’re just always in the same space, so if you’re feeling stressed, get up and take a walk. Be out in the sun for a bit and come back recharged.
