Centerfield to Host ‘Online Education in 2020 & Beyond’ Webinar

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed every facet of our society in a short time, and the impacts to education are likely to last for many years.

Centerfield will host a free webinar focused on new research about prospective students, and their plans and attitudes for education during the 2020-2021 academic year and beyond. Claire Foster, vice president of university marketing and public relations at Regent University, former Co-Founder and COO at Trilogy Education Jamie Farrell, and John Busby, chief marketing officer and managing director of Centerfield, will discuss new research and topics critical to online education on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. PST.

Centerfield found most Americans plan to enroll in academic courses sometime in the future, including nearly one in four that intend to do some form of education within the next year. Half of these future students are currently over the age of 35. Centerfield predicts that as academic institutions offer more online courses, a greater number of American adults will enroll for the flexibility and quickest path to earn an online degree.

In this webinar, attendees will learn about the shifting education landscape amid COVID-19. The webinar will look at stats and trends based on Centerfield’s latest research on marketing and enrollment in 2020-2021, review strategies and discuss a wide range of topics critical to online education, from tuition costs to marketing channels to providing great experiences to students.
