Meet Centerfield’s Platform Sales Executive Darryl Porcha. This summer Darryl will celebrate his three-year anniversary at Centerfield, and his expertise has helped our company cultivate many meaningful relationships with clients over the years. Get to know Darryl in our latest “Day in the Life” interview.
Q: Can you explain what your role entails?
A: My role encompasses both inbound and outbound sales. Inbound sales allows me to focus on helping B2B companies who are looking for lead generation business solutions. At the same time, with outbound sales, I am able to create new business relationships and find ways to work together.
Q: What’s the coolest thing you’re working on right now?
A: Win-backs! The pandemic hit the business hard and many businesses are starting to recover. It has been exciting to focus on win-backs in areas where we have volume and ability to help the sellers succeed in this new environment.
Q: What are your favorite things about working at Centerfield?
A: The culture and personalities at Centerfield create a welcoming environment for professional and personal growth.
Q: Any advice for people wanting to do what you do?
A: I think sales is about understanding your organization and leveraging your expert communication skills. Aligning those personal strengths with the company’s strengths and values should propel you to be successful.
Q: Can you share a WFH tip?
A: My work-from-home tip would be to remember to take a break. Go outside and take a walk. Get away from everything for a moment. I feel recharging your energy allows you to stay focused and get more done.
Q: What are you looking forward to as we head back into the office?
A: I look forward to having face-to-face relationships with my colleagues.
